Darwin Visual Arts (DVA) is where aspiring, emerging and established artists come together to share ideas, exhibit, to create new work, to learn both arts and arts business development skills and importantly, have a sense of belonging in the broader arts community.
DVA is a central hub, a home and a hive of activity, bringing our artists together for exciting new projects, collective exhibitions with quirky themes that challenge both the artist and the audience, and where the community engages in creativity.
DVA artists are diverse – from all ages, cultures and backgrounds, reflecting the cultural diversity that is the Top End of Northern Australia. As an Artist Run Initiative, artists actively engage in the management and day to day of our studios, galleries, and projects with our 70 strong volunteer list providing all manner of support to our two part time staff.
Your donation will mean DVA can continue to support Darwin artists to take a chance and exhibit for the first time, share their work in a supportive space and build an audience who can share their passion for creativity.
Your donation will help DVA continue to provide workshops for both artists and the wider community so creativity can be shared and bring joy to people's lives.
